New Militant Group Threatens to Blow Up Pipelines in Delta

With less than twenty four hours  to  the commencement of the meeting between the president and Niger Delta leaders, in putting an end to the bombings in the Niger Delta region.

A new militant group Niger Delta Defence Corps(NDDC), have promised to blow up two oil pipelines in Delta and Rivers state today the 31ST of October, in protest to their exclusion from the negotiating team meeting with the president on November 1st.

In a statement by the spokesperson of the group and self styled GENERAL  EGBE, said they forwarded a letter to the secretary of the Federal government who had assured them of their inclusion, and that blowing up the pipelines will send a message to the president.

The spokesperson of the group also claimed responsibility for an attack on the Azaka Iguiye pipeline in Edo state on Saturday, and threatened to unleash more attacks on oil installations.

In the same vein, another militant group Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate said it struck the 32-INCH  Effurun-Otor  delivery pipeline in Delta state.

In a statement by its spokesperson and self styled GENERAL ALDO  AGBALAJA, said they shall fulfill their earlier promise of crippling oil assets in Urhobo land.
